Our fantastic brands and outstanding concepts have done it again! We are delighted to announce that we received two gold and two bronze awards at The British Cheese Awards earlier this month.
This is a huge achievement as this year’s awards received over 800 entries from cheesemakers and dairy producers from across the UK and Ireland.
The prestigious British Cheese Awards had a strong judging panel made up of cheesemakers, cheesemongers, cheese experts, buyers and commentators who assessed entries in their individual classes, awarding bronze, silver, and gold accolades to deserving products.
Our gold winners were Marmite® Cheddar, in the ‘Blended – Savoury’ category of the awards, while Mexicana® won gold in the ‘Blended – with Garlic, Pepper and Chilli’ category.
The cheeses that took bronze awards were our delicious Ilchester® Wensleydale with Cranberries in the ‘Blended – Sweet’ category and Applewood® in the ‘Blended Smoked’ category.
It is a real boost to have our cheeses recognised by the judges at the British Cheese Awards – the UK’s leading cheese and dairy products awards. It’s the first award for Marmite® Cheddar, which only launched last year, so we are over the moon about it and hope it’s the first of many!
