Mexicana® has hit the road again in (a hired) branded van. Selling nachos at these events with melted Original or Extra Hot Mexicana on top, the target was to increase awareness of the brand in the key target audience, 18-35 year olds, selling the perfect serving suggestion for Mexicana with nachoes.

Mexicana® chose Boardmasters in Newquay as the first event which was held on the weekend of 7th August which combined a surfing and BMX event on Fistral Beach in central Newquay with a music festival at Watergate Bay. The Mexicana truck was at the music festival headlined by Faithless, Rudimental and Bastille to feed the hungry revellers.

Some great feedback was had from the event. As the first event of this kind for any of our brands, it was very encouraging and exciting. Next up is the Sundown festival in early September in Norfolk, followed up by sampling activities during freshers weeks at some lucky London universities.
